Hailing from the American Rust Belt, Infestuous is a long-gestating collaboration between Matt Tluchowski (Doctor Smoke) and Alan Cassidy (The Black Dahlia Murder). The project began in 2009 with initial tracking in 2012, though the recordings sat in stasis for years before finally being unearthed and completed between 2020 and 2024. The result is "Unfathomable Mutagenic Abominations," a slab of groove-laden, technical-leaning brutal death metal featuring shared vocals from the duo and guitar solos by Steve Lehocky (ex-Doctor Smoke, ex-Necrophagia). The debut finally sees the light of day in 2026 via our homies at Silent Pendulum Records.
